Welcome Baby Britain
Mike, Kylie and I would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to our family, Britian La Ree Alleman. On January 20th I awoke with mild contractions at 2am and they lasted for about 4 hours. I was getting a little frustrated sooooo I started doing jumping jacks to help speed up the contractions. I know.. I know... But I just wanted them to stop or start coming on stronger so we could go to the hospital already. At about 7 am I woke up Mike and told him it was probably time to go to the hospital. We took Kylie to Uncle Dave and Aunt Skyes, had a small bite to eat ( thanks Skye for the swedish pancakes). Mike and Dave gave me a very sweet blessing and we were then off to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at about 8:30am, the nurse checked me and I was already a SEVEN.... Woohooo...... I was shocked and to tell you the truth very proud of myself. I guess I was just so shocked how far I was because I am a big baby when it comes to pain and I was still feeling pretty good. So, being a seven they admitted me and with in a matter of hours Britain was here. I was almost a nine before I received my epidural and man o man did I want it by then and I cried so hard because I had 3 contractions during it. After about 5 minutes of pushing Britain La Ree entered the world crying, health and beautiful. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the hospital staff and everyone made it very enjoyable for me. Mike was an amazing coach and so sweet and patient with me. It's hard to believe some times that I am a mommy of two beautiful health girls. It gets stressful at times but I would not have it any other way. Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers.
