Our little Mermaid

Kylie was very timid when the summer started to even go into the water and now she loves it. This is the latest thing she has been doing. She loves going under the water!!! We have a waterproof camera so we thought we would take a picture and this is how it turned out.

This is what I found the other day after I checked on the girls during their nap. It was probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I love my girls and love how they already play together. Kylie is a great big sister and love love loves her little sister.

Happy Birthday Mom

This past weekend we made a last minute trip to California to surprise my mom for her birthday. We called her on Friday morning to wish her a happy birthday and she told us that all she wanted for her birthday was to see us. Little did she know we were on our way to her house. So needless to say she was so shocked to see us walk into her house. Kylie walked in with a big balloon and flowers and said "Happy Birthday Grams". She did a double take because she thought she was seeing things. My mom is an amazing person. She has a heart the size of the universe and would do anything for anybody. She has always been there for me when ever I needed her and even when I didn't she is still always there(you know... just in case... as she likes to put it). She has always been very strict with her kids and always wanted the best for us. My mom is the kinda mom that tells you exactly like it is and if you don't like it well that is just to bad. She turned the beautiful age of 66 this year. She would probably kill me for telling the whole world that, but I think she looks great. She has made me the woman that I am today. I hope that I am making her proud. I appreciate her more today than I ever have. I love you mom!!!!

Bunco Bunco Bunco.....

Last night I played Bunco for the second time with some AWESOME girls in my ward. I had a blast!!! Of course who wouldn't have fun with yummy Fondue, great friends and few games of Bunco. I seriously don't think I could have fit anymore food in my stomach. The night was rocking and I even walked away with a gift card to Tropical Smoothie. WOOHOO!!!! Thanks for the good time ladies..

Our Fun 4th!!!

We had a GREAT 4th of July. We woke up early and went to our ward breakfast and Kylie was in a little parade. She rode her bike and really thought that she was hot stuff. She cracks us up!!!! After that we hung out for a while and then we were off to Dave and Skyes house for a yummy BBQ. We did fireworks that night and for the second year in a row Kylie wasn't feeling it, Surprise... Surprise... All day she was talking about how excited she was to do fireworks, and when it came time to do them she did not want any part of it. Every once in a while she would peak her head around the corner and say "MOM...MOM... I like them. I am happy now". She was trying so hard to enjoy them. LOL!!! Britain was indifferent. She only seemed to like the big ones that were far off in the distance. Kylie and Britain looked so cute in their 4th of July outfits and were both such good girls, considering Kylie had no nap and Britain only had one nap. Mike and I had a great time with all our friends and family, but were ready to pass out by the end of our LONG day.

There is nothing like good friends/family, good food and fireworks.

BEST SISTERS!!!!!!!!!

We love our little girls. Having two girls has been a blast. Every day gets better and better. Britain is growing up so fast. She loves to role around to what ever she wants to get her little hands on and today she started doing the army crawl. She loves to smile and scream (she probably thinks that she is talking but I have news for her IT'S NOT...). We love our little Britain. Kylie loves to play with Britain even when poor Brit doesn't want too. Brit Brit is a really good sport. She just lets Kylie drag her around and play mommy. Kylie is my biggest helper. She likes to help get diapers and love to pick out Britains clothes. Kylie can make Britain laugh and cry all at the same time. Kylie some times thinks that she runs our home. Well, not some times ALL the time. She says the funniest things... She love to mimic every thing we do and say. So, uh.... we really have to watch what we say. It is so fun to watch the two of them together and I know it is only going to get better. We love our girls and feel so blessed.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!

This is the Lords way of punishing me for eating ice cream at 10:00 o'clock at night. I think he was trying to tell me to put the ice cream down. I dont know what do you think???? I mean come on, why isn't the last of the baby weight falling off. DUH!!!! Maybe ice cream at 10 o'clock at night!!!!
