Valley of Fire

This weekend we went camping in the Valley of Fire with our friends Ben and Dawn and their cute girls. We had the best time!!!! Kylie and Baylie had an awesome time playing together and Britain and Meg were great babies. We packed so much into our quick little trip. We got to the camp site around 6pm on Friday and there were no camp sites open. We were getting a little worried, so Ben asked a ranger what we could do and she said that if there were no regular camp sites left than we could stay in the Handicap spot. We all thought this was kinda funny because we were feeling a little handicap with 4 kids under the age of 3. LOL!!! This was the first time we had been camping since I was pregnant with Kylie, we couldn't believe it had been that long. We set up camp and then Ben and Dawn made a yummy dinner, we had a fire and made smores with stripped shortbread cookies(Thanks to Ben and Dawn for those too). They were soooo good!!! Kylie and Baylie had a great time watching a movie, eating smores and looking at the stars. At on point Kylie pointed to the sky with both arms streched out and said, "Aw, So Cute". After a rough nights rest we were up bright and early(5am early), had breakfast and hung out for a little while. We were then off for a very fun day. We first did some climbing on the rocks near our camp. The kids had fun going into the little holes and caves, they also had fun chasing the lizards. We then went and looked at some petroglyphs. Next on the list of things to do was the visitor center, and elephant rock. The visitor center was pretty cool but elephant rock was a bit of a bust. We then went back to camp and had lunch, finished packing up camp and got on the road. We had such a good time and can't wait to do it again!

I'm really want to go camping soon. You'll have to give the scoop on where to go and what to do and what not to do. Cute pictures, the girls look like best buds.

I love the pictures! Sounds like a quick trip, but fun! We want to come next time. I love camping. Those girls need a boy to play with, Nathan can show them how to get dirty!

I am so impressed that you went camping with such a young baby! You are an inspiration to all married couples with kids who never go anywhere will their babies! You are an inspiration to married couples without babies that think they can't do anything once they have a baby!

Those girls looks so cute together, I bet they had so much fun! Camping is the best, and I really need to go...soon! I thought it was so funny how the girls watched a movie. I just LOVE technology! We definitely didn't get to watch movies on our camping trips growing up. That would have been the bomb!

Cute pics!
