Summer is here and we are starting to really enjoy the pool. Kylie has been cracking us up lately with her cheesy poses. Funny thing is, she totally poses like I do. Pop the knee and lean. LOL!!! We could not stop laughing. She is so stinking cute.

Our little Britain loves to sit in her floaty and just hang out. She is such a sweet little girl.

Brit got her ears pierced...

We took Britain last week and pierced her ears at Claire's at the Las Vegas Outlets. It was quite the experience!!!! Kylie was so excited for Britain to get her ears pierced just like hers. Kylie was a little worried about Britain once she saw the gun. She was not happy that they were going to make her sad. It was kinda cute. Britain was all smiles, until we had to hold her down to make the dots on her ears. It was all down hill from there. As you can see in the pictures I am holding her and she is all smiles. Once she started to get upset I could not do it anymore. After they were done with the piercing she was fine. I mean the second that they were done she was totally fine. I think the reason she got so upset was because Mike was holding her head back. Poor baby... but man o man does she look so cute. Thanks Britain for enduring that pain.

4am feeding and smoke alarms..... YIKES!!

Ok... I was not going to blog about this because its embarrassing, but Mike said that I had to. So, Britain woke on at 4am this past Monday and I did the normal routine. I walked into her room, put her binky in her mouth, then went into the kitchen to warm a bottle on the stove. I then went and sat down on the couch for a few minutes while the bottle warmed. I awakened to smoke every where and the smoke alarms going off. I ran into the kitchen to find A LOT of smoke and a pot and bottle black and burnt to a crisp. Right after I entered the kitchen out ran Mike from the bed room to find everything up in smoke. The kids are crying, smoke alarms going off and I am freaking out because it is so loud. I felt so bad about what happened. I mean what kind of mom would let that happen. Mike kept telling me that it could have been much worse............ I know... I know.... But COME ON what kind of a mom am I? !!GRRR!!!! I am just so mad at myself.

So, we finally got the kids back down to sleep at about 5am and tried all day on Monday to air out the apartment. It still has a funny stall smell to it, but like Mike said before it could have been much worse. Mike just kept shacking his head at me. I know what he was thinking.. "My wife is such a dork, maybe I shouldn't leave my kids home alone with her". Well, maybe not that.. But I am sure he was thinking something. I really am sorry babe!! That will never happen again...... Thank goodness for smoke alarms.

Our fun weekend....

Good times with good friends

We started off our weekend at Kylie's friend Leah's birthday party. Kylie had a great time "watching" all the kids dance and eating yummy pizza and cupcakes. We were then off to our nephew Parkers baseball game. We love to go to our cute nephews baseball games. Parker did a great job catching and playing out field. He is a stud out on the field. Kylie loves to watch her cousins and yell "Go Parker" and "Go Cameron" some times she gets sports mixed up and yells "Go Kobe" or "Go Lakers". LOL!!!! Can you tell the Lakers are in the middle of playoffs?? LOL!! Kylie and her daddy dont ever miss a Lakers game. After Parkers baseball game we went back to Dave and Skyes house to swim. It was such a hot day and we were all looking forward to swimming. Kylie and Britain had a blast!! It helped that the water felt like the bath. Kylie was a little timid at first, but after watching her cousin Bryce jump in a few times she was right there with him. Well, with the help from mom and dad. Girls are so funny!!!! Britain loved to sit in her floaty and kick her feet. It was such a fun day... We ended our weekend with a relaxing Sunday. We went to church and then just relaxed the rest of the day. It was a VERY fun and HOT weekend.

Mothers Day Weekend!!!

I had a GREAT Mothers Day!!! We spent Mothers Day weekend in California with family and friends. We drove down to Cali. on Friday evening. We arrived to my Moms home at about 10pm the girls were ready to play. LOL!! We did not get to bed until after 12am (Word of advise... Dont leave around bed time, because when you get to your desitination the kids have taken a long "nap" and then they are raring to go!!!!) We woke up on Saturday and Mike took me to get a manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows waxed for Mothers Day. The most exciting part about it was that Mike and the girls went with me. Mike is such a great husband. I think when we left he was a little high off the fumes. LOL!!! Poor guy, but he was a great sport and did not complain once. Thanks Babe!!! We were then off to my nieces 1st birthday party. We had a blast spending time with family and celebrating Alyssa's birthday. Later that night we went and spent a little time with Mikes mom and dad and let Kylie play with Grandma and Grandpa. The next morning we got up and got ready for church, let me just say it is soooo hard to be at church at 9am and when you are on vacation it is even harder. But I was pretty impressed that we arrived to church right on time. Church was wonderful and the speakers all gave a wonderful tribute to Mothers. It was so fun to see everyone from our home ward in Cali. We miss them all very very much. Thanks to everyone for making us feel like we never left. I had such a terrific Mothers Day. I am grateful to be a Mother to Kylie and Britain and feel very blessed to have such healthy and beautiful children. Love you Kylie and Brit!!! Thanks Mike for making me feel like such a great mom. You are the BEST Father and Husband.

I know that my mom will not read this but I want her to know how much I love her and respect her. She has one of the biggest hearts and would do anything for anyone. She is not only my mother, a great Grams but one of my best friends. She has done so much for our little family. I will forever be grateful to her for all she has done and continues to do. Love you mom....

I hope that all the Mothers that read this had a wonderful Mothers Day. You are all inspirational to me and I am grateful to you for that. Thank you for your example.

Yummy baby food....

This past weekend we started feeding Britain rice cereal and baby food. She LOVES it all!! Our little Brit Brit is such a good baby. She loves to smile and love love loves to suck on her fingers. She has been trying to raise her head up and loves to sit on our lap and just look at everything. She is a very alert and attentive baby. Whenever we try and lay her down to play she wants nothing to do with it. Britain loves to watch her big sister Kylie play and Kylie lovse to make faces to try and make Britain smile. We are having a blast with our two girls. They keep us very busy and make every day fun, interesting and exhausting.
