Daddy time.....

Mike came home the other day and Kylie was in much need of some "daddy time". They had such a great time baking a cake. Kylie was a great help and loved licking the spoon and bowl. She kept telling me to take pictures. LOL!! I dont know were she gets that from!!! Mike is such a great dad to our girls. Even after his long days he loves to come home and spend time with the girls and play with them. It really gives me a little break too. Thanks babe for all you do..... Aren't they sooo cute in there aprons???? The apron that Mike is wearing was made by Kylie and Britain for Fathers Day!!!!

Happy Birthday Dad

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my dad who would have turned 64 years old today. He pasted away 3 1/2 years ago for lung cancer. He was a fighter and fought until the last second with all of his kids and my mom surrounding his bed side. It was a painful death and I would not wish that on anyone. My dads name was Joseph Paul Rivera and he was one of the hardest working men that I have ever met. He could fix and build anything. He loved his kids (All 13 of us) with all of his heart and worked hard to make sure that we had everything we needed. Some fun memories that I have of my dad is him coming to my track meets at school and yelling "run like the wind". He was my biggest fan!!! He also loved to bring us into the garage and have us do push-ups even when we did not want to but he always rewarded us with money. He loved my mom and loved to give her a hard time about everything. He was very strict with us and no guy was good enough for any of his girls. Well, that was until I met Mike. He liked Mike from the very start. I think that my parents secretly like Mike better than me.LOL! I will never forget dancing with him on my wedding day and him telling me how proud he was of me. It makes me sad some times knowing that he is not hear to see Kylie and Britain grow up. I know that he would have loved them and spoiled then rotten. But, it is comforting to know that they will meet in the next life.

Happy Birthday Dad/Papa Joe...

Alleman Family Vacation 08

We just got back from our little vacation in California. We had a great time and did so much in just four days. We started off the fun at Lamppost Pizza to watch to Laker Game with everyone. Well, that did not end on a good note, seeing that they lost. But we still had a good time because "we were all together". The next day we went to the beach all day and then later that night went to the Angels game. We were a little late and Britain pretty much cried to whole time and once again another upsetting lose. But we managed to make it through the whole game and even stay for the fireworks. On Saturday we went to Kylie's little friend Noah's birthday party. Kylie had a great time playing with Noah and eating cake. So glad that we were able to go and see the Allan's and celebrate Noah's 3rd birthday. Later that day we went to the park and had a barbeque. We had fun playing baseball and enjoying the outdoors. The kids had a great time running around and playing on the playground. Sunday we went to church and after sacrament we went back to Mikes parents home and had a yummy lunch. It was a great weekend. Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun weekend. Love you all........
