Valley of Fire

This weekend we went camping in the Valley of Fire with our friends Ben and Dawn and their cute girls. We had the best time!!!! Kylie and Baylie had an awesome time playing together and Britain and Meg were great babies. We packed so much into our quick little trip. We got to the camp site around 6pm on Friday and there were no camp sites open. We were getting a little worried, so Ben asked a ranger what we could do and she said that if there were no regular camp sites left than we could stay in the Handicap spot. We all thought this was kinda funny because we were feeling a little handicap with 4 kids under the age of 3. LOL!!! This was the first time we had been camping since I was pregnant with Kylie, we couldn't believe it had been that long. We set up camp and then Ben and Dawn made a yummy dinner, we had a fire and made smores with stripped shortbread cookies(Thanks to Ben and Dawn for those too). They were soooo good!!! Kylie and Baylie had a great time watching a movie, eating smores and looking at the stars. At on point Kylie pointed to the sky with both arms streched out and said, "Aw, So Cute". After a rough nights rest we were up bright and early(5am early), had breakfast and hung out for a little while. We were then off for a very fun day. We first did some climbing on the rocks near our camp. The kids had fun going into the little holes and caves, they also had fun chasing the lizards. We then went and looked at some petroglyphs. Next on the list of things to do was the visitor center, and elephant rock. The visitor center was pretty cool but elephant rock was a bit of a bust. We then went back to camp and had lunch, finished packing up camp and got on the road. We had such a good time and can't wait to do it again!

No more diapers for Kylie

WOOHOOO!!! Kylie is potty trained... For the past two weeks we have been working with Kylie on potty training. It has been going pretty well. Right out of the gate Kylie was excited to go pee-pee on the potty but a little nervous to poo-poo on the potty. Well, the first week we had a about one to two accidents a day. We just stayed at home and tryed our best to stay patient and positive. LOL!!! Potty training can really test ones patients. It will be two full weeks tomorrow and we are happy to say that Kylie is fully potty trained. We have not had an accident in 4 days. This past weekend we went camping and we just thought for sure Kylie would have an accident, but she didn't. She told us every time she had to go. We are so proud of our little Kylie or should I say our Big Girl. She loves to pick out what panties she is going to wear each day. Oh yeah, and she loves to show people her panites too. We are working on that....

California Trip

Well, it has taking me a while to post about our trip. I have been busy potty training (I will post about that later!! LOL) ever since I returned from our vacation to California. It seems funny to say that we vacation in California. LOL!!! Our trip to Cali. was a blast! It was two weeks filled with fun, laughter, long days and a few melt downs along the way. Kylie, Britain and I had so much fun spending time with our families and some of our good friends. The first night we were there we were able to celebrate Grandpa Allemans birthday with him. Kylie loved the chocolate cake and singing Happy Birthday to him. We even went back another day and Kylie and Grandma made Rice Crispy treats. Kylie really enjoyed that and I did too because I was able to take a long hot shower with out any interruptions LOL!! The girls and I went to Disneyland THREE times (crazy I know, but Kylie had a blast). I took my little Britain on everything from the Carousal ride, Dumbo, Small World, The Tiki Room, The Jungle Cruise and yes even Pirates. She was a trooper!!! What other 2 1/2 month old baby will be able to say that they went to Disneyland 3 times before they were 3 months old. LOL!!! The best ride that I took Kylie on was the Mater Horn. She had no idea what she was getting herself into, but hey I wanted to go on a good ride too and she was tall enough so we were going on. LOL! Lets just say it was not her favorite. Needless to say our next two visits to Disneyland she made sure to tell me that she was not going on the "Big Mountain Ride". LOL!!! We also went to The San Diego Zoo (Thanks to my sister Starlene, who decided she did not want to go and gave her tickets to our family). We also got to spend a little time with our good friends Erin Allan and her kiddos, Jenny Dalton and her kiddos and we went to an Angels game with Elise. The kids all had a great time playing and it was fun to catch up with my girl friends. Mike finally came into town at the end of the trip to go to a Lakers game with his brother Dave and our good friend Justin. They had such a great time. But who wouldn't with tickets that are 8 rows from the floor. Thanks again Justin. The day after the Laker game Mike played volleyball with some friends. We ended our two week vacation with our good friends Skyler and Elise. We saw there awesome new house and then went out to dinner with them and our other friends Kenny and Jill. We went to our favorite place, Stone Fire Grill... Yummy.. We miss that place. Our two weeks was over and We were all ready to go home. The girls and I missed Mike so much and were so happy to travel home together. Well, I was so that I wouldn't have to drive. LOL!! Thanks to everyone for making our trip so much fun.
