Easter 2008

We started off the holiday weekend at our ward Easter luncheon and easter egg hunt. Kylie had a blast hunting for eggs and eating all the candy that was inside of them. Later that night we colored easter eggs. Kylies favorite part was writing all over the eggs before we put them in the cups. Sunday morning we went to church and right after church we had a easter egg hunt. Kylie was soooo excited to come home and hunt for eggs. After Kylie found all the eggs she wanted to hide them and then we ALL got to hunt. LOL That night we went to Dave and Skye's house for dinner. Skye made an amazing dinner and then we took pictures of Britain in a cute decorated basket. Britain was all smiles... Thanks to Aunt Skye for that cute set up. She is always thinking of cute ways to take pictures... We had a great Easter and the girls were so cute......

Yummy Chicken Wings.....

We like to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Laker Games when we dont get the games on our TV. It is a fun restaurant/sports bar and the wings are great. Well, the last couple times we have gone Kylie has insisted on wings for herself. She doesn't want corn dogs or chicken nuggets, she wants chicken wings like every one else. She loves them and loves to make a mess with them too. So, now were ever we go to eat she always says she wants chicken wings. She cracks us up!!!

Doctor's visit gone bad.....

Ok, I cant sleep so let me tell you about my day, well now it is actually about yesterday seeing that its almost 1:30am. Yesterday was a pretty dramatic day for our little family. We started off our day at Britains 2 month check up. Brit weighted in at 12lbs. 14oz and is 23inches long. We saw the Doctor and he said that Brit is doing great and to come back to two months. Then the nurse came in with the shots. OH MY GOSH!!! Kylie was hysterically crying which then scared Britain and she started crying, before she even got the shots. So you know me, I had to take pictures of my traumatised kids. LOL! Well, after the shots were over and the nurse left they both continued to cry until the nurse came in with a sucker and amazingly enough Kylie stopped crying. Suckers!!! Oh how I love them.... LOL

Our day then continued on to Walmart were I had to pick up a few things. So, I did just that. I checked out and then headed for my car to find out that I had lost my keys. So of course I started to panic and raced back into Walmart looked all around and could not find them. Britain was now crying, Kylie would not stay in the basket and yep I was crying too. I called Mike and he came to help me look for them. We looked for about an hour and then we finally gave up. I went to Customer Service and gave them my name and number to call if they were found them. Just then some one brought them up to the desk. I had left them in the check out line. Silly me.... LOL I can laugh about it now but I was a mess in Walmart.

Being a mom can be challenging sometimes but I would not have it any other way.

Hugging The Toilet!!!

You know that unforgettable feeling in your stomach that starts your legs moving toward the thrown rather quickly? That has been a frequent feeling for Kylie and I the last three days. Kylie seems to have been feeling better last night and this morning but I can't seem to keep things down. It's driving Jessett crazy to have me home but not having the help.

Mammoth.... Fun... Fun... Fun...

We just got back from Mammoth with our good friends Justin and Jenny. The weather was perfect and the scenery was gorgeous. Mike and Justin went snowboarding one day and we just hung out the rest of the time. The kids had a blast playing in the cabin and loved playing in the snow. There is nothing like relaxing in a beautiful cabin in Mammoth.

Many thanks to Justin and Jenny for a fun weekend....

Britains Blessing

Britains blessing was a wonderful day. Mike did an amazing job blessing Brit and it was wonderful to have so many people stand in with him. We were missing Jon (Mikes brother), but understand that he was very busy at work. The biggest surprise of the day was my mom coming. It was a very emotional moment when my mom walked into the chapel right before sacrament started. I was so happy to see her and have her sit next to me during the blessing. She will never know how much that ment to me.

We had a wonderful brunch back at Dave and Skye's house, watched the Lakers game and just enjoyed the rest of the day. Thank you to Dave and Skye for opening up your home for us. Could not have got through that weekend with out you. We love you guys!

I love my family and I am very grateful to have the gospel in my life. I have truely been blessed with so much and am grateful for each and every one of you that made this day so special.
